I watch her get ready in the morning all the time. She seems to operate backwards with her methods but I admire her effort. Also, she lacks discipline but I'm sure if an outsider was looking in, they wouldn't be able to tell.
But hey...I’m just a house plant. What do I know?
She talks to me all the time and it's refreshing. It’s probably the highlight of my day.
And I do a lot in a day believe it or not.
There's magic that happens beneath the surface and within my roots. I to go through transformations and feel the pressures of existence just like you.
I do feel of course....But the way I live and exist differs from the human experience.
I absorb sunshine and it helps me stand tall. Soil earths my roots and stabilizes my foundation, so I can grow luscious and tall.
Water is universal as it quenches and replenishes even the driest of roots.
One may not always visually notice me, but my aura can be felt.
Wherever you place me, I take up space graciously.
If there's anything I can suggest as a house plant that may be of use, it's to simply exist.
No matter your imperfections, take up space because you are here for a reason.
She is beginning to embrace this as well.
She’s different because she picked me. When we first met, I didn’t know if she would even notice me. I mean I am a plant after all and I was at a Plant Nursery.
Surrounded by hundreds of other plants but she picked me. We're connected on a different dimension, she and I.
If she could, I know she would chose me again and again.
Energy doesn't lie, nor does the hues of green in my leaves.
When I am healthy, she knows, and when I'm imbalanced, she knows.
There's an unspoken love between us, and again, I'm just a house plant.
“If you love a flower, don’t pick it up. Because if you pick it up it dies and it ceases to be what you love. So if you love a flower, let it be. Love is not about possession. Love is about appreciation.” -Osho
